Pink Ponies in the USA

Hello there chaps!! Long time no hear!! About time for me to write something here in this blog! We've been super busy filming for Storbis (2007), so that is my bad excuse. Not that anyone would have been interested in reading my stuff anyways... Well here is a little story about a pink pony in the U.S. of A. Although the pony is not pink, and there is no pony. Just a snowboard crew called Storbis, which doesn´t make any sense at all. Like every year, the consequences of us going to the states were not good, but nevertheless, we always dare to attempt it. This year we had a lot of fun though, learned new things, hobbies, etc. The crew was: Heppu Pentti, Ali Toppinen, Janne Heiskanen, Tapio Kuusakoski, Kaius Korpela, Rasmus Tikkanen and Sami Tuoriniemi. USA - "The land of opportunities" Yeah right, the land of opportunities to die!! On the first day we arrived in Salt Lake City, some crazy guy shot seven people at a mall just a couple blocks away. After that, the police shot him. The next day three people died sledding on the mountains and after a week another seven people had died in avalanches. Just walking downtown was spooky because after every corner some dude was arrested. You gotta love them mormons!! "Something positive" During our stay in Utah and other parts of the U.S. of A, we discovered a bunch of very nice hobbies! ...NOT. Thats right!! NOT... So cool...Not!!! "NOT" is the name of the hobby! It includes activities like: Skateboarding...Not, Sledding...Not, Bicycling...Not, Car-driving...Not, etc. It is really funny! You basically just pretend doing something, but you actually aren't. So for example you just run around on the streets just like you would ride a skateboard, but there is no skateboard. Then you ollie and maybe do some gnarly tricks like a nosegrind on a kurb. Afterwards, if you dare, you can photoshop a skateboard under your feet (see below)!!! Sick ha!!! "Filming snowboarding" NOT... Next we are off to Japan! That will be awesome! Maybe we will learn to talk japanese... not.
